Default Is this a Ford Amp????

Behind the stereo on my '97, is that the factory Amp for the stereo mounted on the Transmission 'hump'? The blue, 'air bag module' is located right behind it. I don't have the Mach system. Thanks.

My first guess would be that it is. If you can pull it out and get a good look on all sides of it, you may luck up and find a part number on it that you can cross reference with a dealership and see what pops up.

That in fact, is the amp for your speakers. Depending on what system you have, it is most likely the amplifier for all if the tweeters in the vehicle. It's a 4 channel amp. There are 2 amps under the back 'dash' each of which are 2 channel. The one on the passenger side is for the front and rear mids on the passenger side and the one on the drivers side is for the front and rear mids on the drivers side.
