Default Snow tires for my Mustang

Yes I know Iam evil for driving my stang in the snow but after this winter never again. but after last nights snow storm I went out and bought some bridgestone blisiks only on the rear online cost 150 a tire firestone service store 205.00. What a rip away with these things on the rear Iam hopeing it snows more . Funny thing about this is it took me 20 min to get out of the driveway just to go get the tire's, I had to do the whole rev 2nd gear rock thing. after the install of the tires I hear the wether report for next week 40 and 50 degree's . super I am glad i rushed out and bought those tires. lol

just figured I'd put the word out about the tire's and get some snow driving stories out of you guy's.
Iam sure you guys have some good one's.

I put those on my wifes old integra, they really worked great but I did put on all four. We used the factory size 195, she had 225 on in the summer. As soon as she wears out the Conti's on her Cooper I'll put them on that for the winter also.

I had Blizzaks on my Probe GT a few years ago. (That thing was worse than a Mustang GT on racing slicks in the snow.) Blizzaks rock -- up until the snow got as high as the front air dam, it was actually better in the snow than my SUV! Blizzaks are absolutely the best winter tire available.

With my current 02 Mustang GT I decided I didn't want to do the whole tire and rim swap every spring and fall, so I got a set of Continental ContiExtreme Contacts. Wow! A full on, high-speed performance tire that goes in the snow -- I am very impressed. I haven't had any problems at all this winter and so far in NH we have had a couple of good snows along with a few nasty slush/freezing rain storms.

I went to the snow this weekend with my mom's truck... There's nothing like standing in the driveway watching your moms truck slide down the hill and into the snow bank.

Hey Mana,
Why do you make such worthless posts? To get your post count up? Its so ridiculous some of the things you post. A lot of your posts are just to say you agree with what the previous person said which is worthless. I remember reading another post of yours that said a intake gives you a seat of the pants feel. I mean c'mon an intake..seat of the pants....please come on now everyone knows an intake will never do anything close to that and if they do please tell me what brand to buy. I mean **** I thought you being a Administrator would make you knowledgable about the subject but I own a speed shop in MD with my buddy and no intake I have ever installed gave me a seat of the pants feeling or anything close. Its an intake for crying out loud, not a supercharger. I just think you should stop making worthless posts of no information to people for whatever reason that you do. Save everyone some time, your self and everyone else for your dumb posts that have no information. Thanks for your time!

Why are you making a worthless post flaming me? Are you just adding to your post count? I work at a speed shop and I actually do the majority of my posting from work. The fact that my posts are short doesn't mean anything. I post enough to get the point accross. I don't ussually have the down time to post pages of information.
The point of my last post was that someone wished to hear about snow stories. I went to the snow this last weekend and had a whole bunch of trouble... We couldn't keep the damn truck in the driveway because it was so icy.
Say what you want, but I have experienced installing the K&N FIPK on my car. I felt a seat of the pants difference. You actually gain 10+ RWHP... Now if you can't feel that, I'm sorry. Sucks for you.
I work my butt off behind the scenes here so all of you people here can have a great place to post... I guess my effort isn't really appreciated. I have made the 4.6L section a friendly place where everyone enjoys joking around and such. If you have anymore problems, contact me in a PM.

I think the site is great and as for mustang man I dont think he understands, the posts in what ever fashion may help that one person or give us (non mechanics) something to contribute that may not be so technical . I come to this everyday and read the post good bad funny it doesnt matter and I contribute ( good or bad ) when I feel like I can. So in conclusion I like the part you said " suck for you" take a chill pill Mustangman13
