Can anyone with a K&N FIPK help? I installed a STB the other day. Great improvement in steering and stiffening the front end. My problem is with my spacer and FIPK the part of the brace that goes to the firewall is like right on the FIPK tube and the only way to get it on even was the hose is right on the ridge of the TB. It works and is fine but i dont feel that its safe. I also have a piece of rubber between the fipk tube and the brace so it wont rub it as fast and make a hole. My car doesnt have a metal lip on the firewall so there is no where to mount the back 2 bolts but still its stiff. I know i seen a website where they made hose reducers like on the FIPK. If i could get one that was like and inch and a hlaf longer then it would fit snug again and i would feel better. Can anyone take the hose that attaches the tube to the TB and measure how long it is..and also measure the opening for the TB side and the opening for the FIPK side so i can get one like it but like an inch longer in length. Thanks for the help in advance. I would do it myself but i am afraid if i take it off i wont get it back on again by myself at my apt.
