The S197's are nice, and yes, better suspension. Try for a premium with the brushed aluminum interior stuff, the base interior kinda sucks a little, it's all rubbery and cheap feeling. Also, go for 2006+ if you can, the '05's still had some bugs to be worked out.
The only downside to S197's is how much stuff for them costs. Axle back exhaust, which is a fancy term for mufflers, pretty much the same cost as a full catback for our cars. Cold air? Gonna have to buy a tuner to go with; it's like a $600 proposition. The list goes on and on.
And lastly, if this all works out and you get one, please do not be one of those toolbags that lists all of your 126 visual/exterior mods in your sig. That sh!t is lame, seriously. Go over to the S197 section of this or any Mustang forum to see what I mean. Complete toolbags.
