Default considering to purchase convertible

Hi, I am completely new to Mustand but recently i am considering to purchase convertible. I currently own Acura 2002 TL, I checked out dozens of convertible models and thought in terms of cost and quality, I would go for Mustang convertible.
Aside from being that, my priority is reliability therefore I wonder what year would you suggest to be reliable and known trouble spots. Ideally I would like to get a 2005-2009 years and I prefer the outside appearances of those model years better than the latest years.

Also if someone could be a nice enough for list out the common technical maintenance average cost at dealership such as enginer/transmission oil change, various filter changes and some major repairs like tbelt change etc. so I can get some idea of maintenance expenses. Thanks!

I have owned a few GT verts and hard tops- including 87',93',00',07' and now a 12' vert
No real issues on any of them!
Love being topless in my 12' GT vert, but my 07' was a Roush 427R and I miss the snappiness!
