When Do You shift?

Just curious on everyone's driving habits. With stock or different gears, what RPMs do you shift your gears? I keep mine personally around 2 grand and maybe upwards of 3 on spirited driving. Very rarely do I take it to the limit.

Most of my shifts happen between 3-3500, sometimes 4K. I just enjoy the noise it makes. Cop around? Never more than 3K. If I'm trying to prove that I'm a bigger ******* than the guy next to me, it goes to 55-5700.

Shifting

I usually shift around 3000, but when I want to have some fun ill usually shift at 6500 or 7000. I will only shift this high though when the car if warm, if the car is cold I wont go above 2500

Pretty much what he said.
I have the 87 performance tune and JLT cai and the stock 3:55 with flowmaster american thunders out back which makes is sound so much better than stock.

Usually about 3k, although probably because that how I'm used to driving the 4 cyl Mazda Ranger and shifting at 3k is pretty much a requirement there.

2.5-3.5 depending on the road and such, but when i'm having fun and the engines warm i get very close to red-line.

Looking at this thread i now feel like i'm abusing my poor pony, good thing it's built ford tough x D

If you're really openning it up, why stop at 5 like most people are here?
