Default Interior lights staying on.

Hey has anyone had a problem with their interior lights staying on...the doors/trunk is not open. The lights are not on but they will not go off. Any ideas.

Check the dimmer switch and make sure it is not rotated in the "on" position. One end of the dial or the other.

No it was not the dimmer switch I checked that first! I really don't know what it was but I WD-40 the door hinges and then a good hard slam of the door fixed it. On the older ford vehicle that had that little plastic button that was shoved in by the door to turn the lights off but my car does not have that so I don't know what controls it but a good slam fixed it!
