Hey guys, I'm a proud owner of a 2004 mustang gt 40th anniversary it is black with gold stripes, it came with cobra mirrors, spoiler delete, two tone interior, gold painted bullit wheels, ive never seen any other mustang like this. Anyone know if they are realy rare?

i also have never seen a mustang gt with a toyota emblem on it. if i put one on mine does that make it "rare"? once again not worth more than a gt of similar condition with a differnt color

Just because it is a rare color combo doesn't make desirable though. One of the rarest color combos of SN95s was the Tangerine Orange with Saddle interior and a White convertible top. But it just looks goofy so it's not that desirable.

Mustang in my Avatar is a good representation of what my car looks like right now. Soon it will be unique enough for me to take a picture and update with the real deal. 2002GT with Flow-master exhaust, K&N CAI, 3.73 gears. Roush Stage III Fascia in the garage and waiting for test fit
Practical Wishlist: 70mm Throttle body, Throttle body spacer, Tuner with Bama tunes Re-Paint Torch Red
Didn't that color combo come stock on the Roush that year??

If it was the 440a there were only 40 made and one of the color schemes was the black and briar brown. That would be considered rare but other than that I wouldn't call it rare. Yopu buy your stang in florida....that is where they were sold.

Here we go...
"All 2004 Mustangs except Cobras wore 40th Anniversary fender badges, but not every one was a 40th Anniversary Edition Mustang. The 40th Anniversary Edition package was available on V6 and GT models. It came in three colors including Black, Oxford White, and Crimson Red, which was only available on the 40th Anniversary models. They came with premium wheels, 40th Anniversary floormats, body-colored fold-in mirrors, and Arizona Beige stripes on the rocker panels, hood, and trunk. They also came standard with the interior upgrade package which included larger headrests and silver interior trim. Ford made 5700 of them. The package was an $895 upgrade"
Now of the 5700 how many was black with the gold looking stripes....I dont know

It will never be authentic though. I have paper work of authenticity im sure it will have value in the future.

paper work of authenticity stating its black and gold? never herd of such a thing "rare" color combo isnt worth more than a normal one. it could be "rare' because they stop producing that color combo due to no one wanting it
