Selling my Mach1 and asking 13,900 with 30k miles. Just got offered 12k and am considering this. Reason is yellow is not the most popular color and it is january. Any thoughts? Should I wait it out?
30K? The car's barely broken in. $13900 is a fair price, I would try to hold out for 13 at the least. If the guy is bustin your balls about it being yellow, tell him getting the car for 12 won't make it any less yellow.
Figuring a car with that mileage is tip-top inside and out (right?), I see no reason you can't get something closer to your asking price. Tell the guy you'll meet him in the middle, 13K even. That's basically a grand off your asking price, which I figure like anybody else you must have padded a little so you have room to negotiate.
Are you in a hurry to sell it, or do you have a little time for playing the game?

sounds to me like the yellow would make it more rare since it wasn't really popular.. plus the car is a mach with only 30k miles.. no, i wouldn't take his offer. BB in exc. condition is 15k, i would say stick to your price, maybe go a little closer to 14.5 considering that the color isn't common for a mach. Sit on it if you can and wait, it's worth the extra cash.

No I am not in a hurry. I would of course like to get it sold by the spring so I can turn around and get something different. Also If i sold it now I figure I could also save some money on my next purchase since it's winter and the prices usually do go up in the spring.
Assuming it is in great condition and with low miles like yours you should be able to get more, I think 13k is very fair for that car.

I agree but you may have to wait for the buyer looking for that color preference to get top dollar . New edge Mustangs are one of the very few cars i think look great in yellow , cruise nites bear that out .
I sold my mach 2 yrs ago for 13k cash. It had 15,000 miles on it. I kinda gave it away at that rice, but I had been trying to sell it for a long time and got tired of waiting. Its one of those things, if you don't have to sell it, wait out the top bidder or whoever is willing to pay for it. In my opinion, what you are asking for it is fair, but if you wanna sell it now, go 12,500.
