Hey guys so Ive looked all over the internet and cant find the answer to my question. My question may seem dumb but i just have to make sure so I figured Id ask you guys!
So I recently bought a 2003 cobra convertible. Its my first vert mustang ever so I am new to this.
My question is this. Are you not supposed to drive it with the top down and the windows up? Like usually I like to just have the top and the windows all down but sometimes to reduce wind noise and stuff I want to have my 4 windows up with the top down. Like by having the windows up and no top up for the windows to secure in to on top will it cause them to become misaligned over a period of time and make my vert leak during rain?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

yeah it shouldn't hurt a bit since the windows are on tracks anyways but i would make sure my windows were down a little if not all the way before i put my top back up, but like bopper said a windscreen is a good idea to even further reduce the wind coming in. I would like vids on the cobra, sounds beautiful!

Like everybody else says, won't hurt anything. I only put them up if I have to answer my phone, and then after I'm done they all go immediately back down - I always felt like the whole top down/windows up thing is for old ladies w/ Sebring convertibles lol.
Obviously you know not to attempt putting the top up or down with the windows all the way up - that's the one that can break some stuff.

Awesome thanks for all the great answers you guys. I definitely want to get an MMD styling bar installed it totally adds a sick look!
And yea Metallic98GT I will def try and get some pics and maybe a video up of my new cobra.
I sold my black mach 1 but my cobra vert has def made it worthwhile! I considered myself very lucky to have my 3 mustangs all at once even if it was just for 1.5 months!

Lol yea I know what you mean bro! I usually never do that. Just wanted to keep it as an open option just in case. But if I have my top down I have my windows down! God I cant wait for summer this year! This'll be my first summer with a convertible mustang and of all mustangs it'll be a cobra!
