Default Rear Bumper?

I know, I know...I've been making a lot of threads asking all these different questions, but I'm just making a list of everything I plan on doing to my car. So bare with me here

Well I went out and picked myself up a couple of 40 series Flows the other day and I'm trying to decide what to do: Go with stock look and have tail pipes out rear in stock location OR Just dump the pipes right after the Mufflers.

I'm not really sure what sound difference that will make, if any, but I thought it could save me some cash for the time being. But for the bumper, without the tailpipes coming through there, it's going to look funky. So if I do go with the dumped idea, what would be a good choice for a rear bumper? I even considered going with a full "Stalker" body kit, but I'm not so sure about that stuff...

So what I'm asking is: Go with stock tailpipe or dump after muffler?
And: What type of bumper to go with (or body kit?) if I do the dumped?

Thanks in advance
-Tyler:o

you could also get a v6 rear bumper as they do not have any exhaust cut outs

+1, the 2000 Cobra R dumps out the side and uses a V6 bumper in the rear.

+2

I took the tailpipes off my car, with the intention of eventually going to a v6 bumper. Then while it was paked for winter, a neighbor decided to back into it.

I had the insurance company put on a v6 bumper instead of the GT bumper. The swap ended up not costing me a dime. That would be the first and last time, that I was actually happy to have my car hit. However, I now park with my car backed in... Just in case I decide to lose the mach 1 chin and throw a Roush Stage 3 front bumper on.
