I use 3m rubbing compound that u can get at autozone or kragen, it works great but they are still yellow. The only way that U can get rid of it is by replacing them. The cobra lenses from ford are great and I'm not 100% positive but I think that they may be glass.

Default Cleared them up like new

I have a 2000 Mustang, and as you can imagine, the headlight lenses had become very cloudy. Since Ford wants over $400 per side for the replacements, I did some checking around. A company here in town called Mustangs Plus told me that The Ford dealer had a repair kit for around $20, which is a hit or miss depending on the severity of weather damage. Fortunately Mine were limited to external damage only, and the Permatex® Headlight Lens Restoration Kit, part #09135 worked to restore the lenses back to like new clarity. And I also found a site online where the replacement assemblies are available at $140 a pair, and at that price, I bought them just as an in case. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.
