I agree. Much cleaner looking without the stuck on spoiler. That's why mine will not have it. I may put on a ducktail spoiler (with the 3m tape) to see if I like it.

Yeah, how'd you fill in the holes from the spoiler removal?

I bet it looks GREAT...............:hearton: When anyone looks at my car without a spoiler, no fake gas cap, and trunk lock shaved.........they LOVE it.
It looks nice, but I love the classic look that the cap gives the car. I'd never consider taking it off. It just seems to have lost some of it's charm. But that's just my opinion.

Now you got me contemplating the idea of pulling the gas-cap badge off mine too, when I get it.
How did you "shave" the lock, BTW?

To each their own. Personally I think it loses the whole point of the retro look when you remove it. The chrome disc that has GT on it is a classic look. A guy here at work has a 68' and they look so cool sitting next to each other. You can totally see the design similarities. I do however plan on painting the spoiler black like they were in the 60s'. Plus I think the black spoiler on my yellow car with black stripes will tie it all together well. A black chin spoiler to match would also be cool but haven't seen any that impress me so far.
