My wife's 2002 gt check engine light will not go off. The inspection computer reports no codes. By state law they can't pass inspection without the light turning off. Any ideas? This is my wife's second engine that was replaced 4 years/ 60k miles ago. Thanks to anybody who can help!
I would unplug the battery for about 15-20 minutes, which will completely reset the computer. If it is still on after that, I am out of ideas...possibly a short in the dash that is tripping the light bulb to stay on.
post back and let us know if unplugging the battery solves it.
