Default Dealer scratched my bumper

I had the car taken in for 10K checkup and to have the front strut bearings changed, and an extender added to the springs to fix the front popping noises. Unfortunately the dealer scratched the front bumper. I was upset but had a final to study for and so I just got out of there. Went back the next day and service rep said they'll fix it next week. Should something like this be painted in, like a touch up, or should the whole bumper be repainted? Besides the two noticable scratches, there is a minor mark light in color below it.

I work in a body shop for a living and that definatly should be primed and the repainted. If you touch it up it will look like crap.

I hope they told you what they did. WTF- that's much more than a scratch in my book. Good luck!

Actually, the service rep claimed it was there when he first checked it out. However, someone else from the dealership drove it into the service area in the morning. Dealership didn't claim responsibility, just wanted to leave as a neutral incident and they would take care of it. Funny thing is, I hand washed the car before dropping it off, so I know the scratched occured on their watch. I guess when I take it in next week, I'll insure they prime and paint the whole front bumper.

I was expecting a light scratch from reading your post...that is almost like a gouge. That is unfortunate and hope everything gets repaired correctly.
