Default since the x pipe

Since i got my x pipe on, i have had 2 kills, and a bunch of run in with stangers. I live in NY so it is not that common for people to say hey nice car... since most people here are a-holes. But since the x pipe, i have had 5 or 6 guys pull up and start bsing about our stangs (in the past week). Also, i beat a wrs turbo subaru... not sure on model but i know it had a turbo you could hear it. Not sure if that was a good kill or not, i had heard they were fast from people but not really sure, he seemed pretty confident he would win when he challenged me, that was from a 40 roll and i was behind him, i got around him and walked him. Other than that i beat a 99+ gt (w/exhaust) since the x pipe. I actually beat the gt and he got next to me at the next light and was like "bro i thought i was gonna smoke you" and then asked me what i had done. I was pretty excited i am quicker than 99+ gt's now though. Anyway just wanted to share.

Btw, performance mods are:
-magnaflow catback
-magnaflow x pipe
-densecharger cai
-densecharger tb pipe
-u/d pulleys
-timing adjuster
-75mm tb
-c&l plenum
-transgo shift kit and tranny cooler

Granted i have a decent amount of bolt-ons but still not bad for a npi engine

How much hp did the x-pipe give you? Did you feel any loss in low end torque? I've wanted to get the 50 state legal magnalfow x-pipe for a while, but i'm pretty sure I'd still fail a smog test based on a visual mod.....gotta love Cali!

i got the magnaflow x with cats, it pulls much much harder up top, definetly more hp on top, a little low end loss but not much. It doesnt really matter, imo it helps me launch better with the lower low end power. But that is just my opinion.

Yeah my x pipe def opened things up on top. I will replace the down low ummphh with some gears later on. Cant wait to get this PI intake on and then i am getting an SCT tune. 97gtstang id love to run them! Be very close..maybe not after this intake and tune tho!

nice kills 97GT.........i think that X Pipes give more top end power and H Pipes give more low end

the gt race was from a stand still, and the roll race was only at a roll b/c at the light he was in front of me and took off so i stayed with him, then when the other lane opened up it was already like 40 so that is the only reason it was a roll.

Dude just get it man, you will NOT fail the test b/c of a visual mod IF you got the catted x-pipe. I have mine and I love it! **do it** **do it** **do it**

I beg to differ, I have beat 2 turbo'ed WRX's in the last 3 weeks. They are fast, but they aren't the end all. The STI on the other hand is a different ballgame.
