How many of you have actually ordered an 05 or 06 without test drivin one first??i ordered an 06 gt vert not even test driving or even sitting in one longer than 3 minutes..both times i've been at the dealer,they hover over me as if im gonna steal it and crash through the showroom glass!!my wife thinks i'm nuts for not test driving any car first..usually i would but the stangs are just too bad a$$ looking for me!!
I was able to test drive the GT and V6 coupes, but not the GT vert. I ordered the vert not even knowing if I would fit in it ( I'm 6'3" and barely fit in my 87 GT). Thankfully I had the chance last month to test drive a vert. Whew! Plenty of room for the 'ol noggin.

I ordered the GT vert without driving one; they did not have any GTs but I did drive a V6 vert first; i currently have an 00 GT vert and knew I would not be happy with a V6 even tho the power is much improved; I should have it by this Friday and can hardly wait; a legend lime with black top and interior.
I hadn't even sat in one, and had only seen one in person from behind ropes. Never test drove it - as a matter of fact, when it came in, we did the paperwork before even going to the back lot to look at it and drive it home.
I ordered my Mustang GT before test driving one. I sat in the GT on display in the showroom twice before I finally decided to order (once in October, once in March). Ordered on April 1. Finally test drove a GT two weeks after ordering. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.
I ordered an '05 before I had even saw one up close and personal, let alone get to test drive one. Forums like this and magazine articles made it easy to do so.
No test drive for me either. I did get to see a couple at the lot the night I ordered but they were sold. Would not have mattered anyway I was getting it no matter what. I did't even get to drive mine off the lot, my Dad and Husband had to get it for me. My kid had been in an accident and I could not leave her....
