Hey Meatball, instead of buying yet another set of wheels maybe you should look into painting the Bullits you have now. I know they make special paint for wheels. You might be able to do it in your garage without even taking them off. Just a thought... the black would look better than the anthracite.
-- Did run into a friend yesterday who told me about a powder-coating place, might look into it. Made easier because a) I have complete other set wheels/tire, and b) the combo on the car IS what works right even if I don't like the color. Thanks.

Okay, crude mockup of black Bullitts on my car; doing this to keep 17x8 on front, 17x10.5 on rear (I have gray bullitts now) - will also keep the complete Ultralite II/Yokohama set (17x9, 275/40)

i would go with a set of 18x9, 18x10.5....i like your ride with the ultralites and the bullitts, but would upsize one more inch......let me know if you want to sell any of your wheels......

- no chance... already have 10 17" wheels and 10 17" tires and ordered the four black Bullitts today, 2 from TomZ Wheels in TX and 2 from Mustang Tuning (and just got the email that said they're out of stock on the 10.5's). The whole point of this expensive exercise is to perfect the ride quality vs. traction issue; I already know that 9" wheels on front make it worse ON MY CAR and the shorter sidewall of a 18" tire wouldn't help.

Willing to part w/the Ultralites probably but Wash, DC to Los Angeles?? Will also have two OEM gray Bullitts to sell (17x8) and 2 17x10.5 aftermarket Bullitts - they are slightly more silver than the OEM ones.
