These pics are ~2 years old, back when the car was running 11's. Looks much different today

You can easily burn up a clutch with the stock output of these engines. Just let someone ride the clutch for a few stoplights and roll the window down, you'll smell it.

I saw a stock 96 GT burn up a clutch trying to do a burnout at the track one time. Never stand on the brakes while doing a burnout in a manual. I saw lots of smoke but no tire spin; poor *******.

I know what you are talking about....

Two years ago I went to the Summer Nationals, Worcester, MA and there was a guy with a huge a$$ Chevy Blazer K5.
As for motor, he used a 502 blown. Had a 6" lift kit and 38" offroad tires.

When he tried to burn out, he spun one wheel, then they put more water on the concrete plate, then he spun the other wheel.

In the final atempt, he didn't spin the wheels at all, but he blew up the tranny. God loves the stupid...
