I know what you are talking about....
Two years ago I went to the Summer Nationals, Worcester, MA and there was a guy with a huge a$$ Chevy Blazer K5.
As for motor, he used a 502 blown. Had a 6" lift kit and 38" offroad tires.
When he tried to burn out, he spun one wheel, then they put more water on the concrete plate, then he spun the other wheel.
In the final atempt, he didn't spin the wheels at all, but he blew up the
tranny. God loves the stupid...
