Default Which is better H pipe or X pipe

I did a search on this subject and couldn’t find any answers. The main reason I’m asking id because I found this Bassani X pipe for sale on a local classifieds ad. It’s off a 2000 mustang…selling for $65.00. would this fit my 2001 Gt and would this be worth the trouble.

Well if you can get it for 65 bucks, then X would be the answer in my book. Neither one will yield significantly better power than the other. The X sound is a bit raspier, the h more old school muscle car.

$65 sounds crazy, im surprised its that cheap, but if so then its a good deal. I dont know if you want to spend the extra money but trust me, you want a sound that you like because you will be listening to it every time you drive your car. I would say go with an H pipe just because it sounds deeper and more muscle car like. X pipe is just raspy.
