Default How much Horsepower??

I just bought a sweet GT that I got a great deal on. Its a 2000 4.6L DOHC and the previous owner installed a flowmaster exhaust (dont know which one) and a K&N Cold Air Intake. There might be other mods but the dealer didnt know so Ill have to look.
The question I have is how much horsepower do you think my GT has with those two mods? -Thanks in advance

Checked out superchargers and its like $3000 for one!! **** thats expensive!

Could someone briefly explain how a supercharger works? Does it force gas and air into the engine...is that why superchargers are rated by psi?

Yeah, they aren't cheap, but they sure are fun. Go for gears if you're lookin for a cheap kick in the ass for the car. Swap out the midpipe to let it exhaust better and finish opening the intake up with a 70 or 75mm throttle body and a intake plenum upgrade.

bluestreaks right go with gears, rpm online has a kit that sells gears and a bearing kit and a tuner for 450.00 everything you need pretty much. It feels like you threw a s/c in their anyway compared to the stock gears. Also what is this brooklyn (unfortunately) crap - I would kill to be in brooklyn right now, I'm in the armpit of america right now. AZ sucks NY rocks - Also one more thing 3 grand for a s/c isnt that bad, you want to turbo it your spending 5 grand at least and most s/c kits are at least 3500 to 4 grand - hell i found a cheap s/c for 2900 yesterday - you were born on july 13th huh, me too!

LOL, I wish I 'only' had 4 grand in my blower setup.....I coulda went with a different blower and spent less money, but the KB fits what I wanted perfectly. I didn't just want a peak number. I wanted that power available throughout the RPM range. You gotta pay to play.

Buy NOS. As long as you dont over use it your fine. $700 will buy you a good NOS sytem and send you into the low 13s, maybe even high 12s easily. This is if you just wanna "pay to play" once in a while.

That's got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on this forum. Why spend the money for it if you're not going to use it? That's like spending 50 grand on a mint condition car to never drive it.

Well I meant to use it to the specified HP shot. Not the number of times you spray. And yah you'll use it a lot in the begining but after a while you'll only use it at the tracks or once in a while when racing. And Bluestreak you can kiss my #$@ you cocky son of a #$@%!.
