i went from 91notch to a 03srt-4 IIstage and im now bout to trade in the dodge for a 04GT black on black.....i was wondering what do u guys perfer as far as exhaust goes? i already have original 40series flowmasters to install and i know they arent the best, but the sound, to me, is unmatched...but i was wondering with the all the 4.6 motor heads here...does the off-road x pipe or off-road h pipe sound better with the 40series flows? ur personal opinions please...im looking into the trade this friday coming up.

i had 40s on my o4 gt and its sound just like the stock mufflers i want wit slp its a big change makes ur car sound like a beast

Flowmasters on these mod motors just don't sound like they did on the 5.0's, and matched with an o/r x-pipe is gonna make for one very raspy system. Alot of people favor Magnaflow and SLP, and each company has different style mufflers depending on how loud you want it. If your gonna stick with the flows, I'd go with an h-pipe w/ high-flow cats.
