friday im off to purchase a 04 black on black gt and was wondering which wheels would look the best on it? the back wheel has to have a deep dish lip on it. i was thinking between the 2 wheels i have attached......also what size would look best? 17x10.5 or 18x10. what is the difference as far as everyday driving and performance with those different sizes? any feedback...also recommend me some nice wheels for my black beauty to be!!!!!

chrome. it goes w/ everything and looks so dang nice. id spend 10 more bucks and get chrome. the 18*10 will give you better control during the winter/rain since it is bigger. if i was you. i would go 18*9 in front and maybe 18*10 in back if u want bigger tires for back. if you go bigger then 18*9 in front u might end up with rubbing problems

thanx for the reply '03Stang...as far as the smaller tire on the front and bigger tire on the rear is def. the look im going for...any other opinions? would appreciate it

I have those Black ones 18x9's in the front and 18x10's in the back of my 02 Black GT. Along with some dark tinting these look great and you wont have to worry about dealing with the crome. The 18's are nice but if your looking for better E.T.s at the track i'd go with the 17's. The tires also cost more for 18's so its kind of a toss up. If you lower your car you wont really be able to tell the difference in the 17's and 18's when buying that style rims. Also with the 17's you dont have to worry about pot holes as much. Obviously the 10 extra bucks a tire wasnt a decision breaker for me lol.

I'm personally a fan of black wheels more than chrome, but that's just personal preference.

Either one would look really good.

i agree both would look very good, but black with black rims is such a good look.. makes me wish i have black rims.

Both look great however, chrome just seems to stand out more. Giving it a more clean look!:thumbsup

I prefer the chrome also and would say 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 on that body style.....17's seems too small........now i have a 1998 cobra convertible........would anybody tell me if 17" or 18" chrome saleens would look better on an SN95 mustang........not gonna use the 18's for track use so not worried about my E.T..........just daily street use.........do 18's really slow your car down that much going up from 17's?

Either way you go your car is gonna look super clean.But the only problem w/chrome is the clean up process.You have to spend alittle more time w/them but the results are amazing. IMO the black on black looks more evil and sinister.I have the 20x9 chrome razors on my black o7 gt and is looks great but sometimes i want the black on black look.If you go w/the a.m. wheels please go for some better looking center caps,that "M" on there just looks cheap IMO.
