It's kind of hard to do (my first time at the strip in a '92 Grand Prix auto, it was slow) I had pretty bad reaction times. You have to go on the 3rd amber. It's hard because you think your going to redlight, but you won't - and your r/t will come down.
I haven't raced mine at all, should have it to the track one of these days in the next couple of months though .
Yes, launch on the 3rd yellow and you'll be fine. Who cares about your reaction time though unless your actually racing someone, r/t's dont effect your et. Get your 60' times down with some UCA's, LCA's, and DR's.
Take a few bags of ice with you and ice the intake between runs if you want those ET's to come down. Definitely work on the 60' times and your runs will get better very quickly.

Don't go that far down with tire pressure. Go down to about 25psi or so if you're still running street tires. Any lower than that and I'd be afraid of the bead popping off the rim at speed. A full burnout is useless with street tires. What you do want is to spin them for a couple seconds, just enough to scrub off any dirt and debris that is on them but not build up a bunch of heat.

I agree If you can go around the water and give it a little spin. If you go through the water and dont end up doing a decent burn out all youll do is take water with you on the track. I usually drop my pressure to around 28 but my max is 50.
