Default With these Mods how much Hp should i Have(estimate)

Hey everyone, I am really curious of what type of horsepower i will have once all my mods are bought and installed in my 97 Gt auto, that had 215 hp out of the factory. I have alot of my mods, but i am planning to install them at once.

Installed
1. Borla uncatted X-Pipe side exhaust w/ flowmaster 40 series mufflers
2. BBK Cold Air Intake
3. BBk Fuel Pressure Regulator
Not yet installed
1. 4:10 gears and kit
2. Pi Swap, intake, cams etc...
3. Steeda Underdrive Pulley Kit
4. Hooker Shorty Headers
5. XCal or Diablo Tuner
  • Thats basically all the mods i have and plan on doing horsepower wise, but i would be really interested in what the expected horsepower of all these mods will end up being. Thanks For Your Help!!!

With the mods you have now, your prolly at 195WHP. With all your future mods, you could probably hit 250-265 RWHP.

So long as your P.I. kit includes heads you should be at 280-295 at crankshaft. The 99 up cars were 260hp and aprox 300 pounds of torque.

Default I find all this intersting

With those top end mods listed, will someone comment on necessities for the bottom end of the engine. And I will phrase my inquiry another way: I have a 96GT with similar mods o/r H, series 40 flowmasters and a cold air intake - with +100k miles is the crank/pistons/bearings become a weak link. Afterall, the top end is being replaced with heads and stuff to increase power with air flow.

I would love to hear the retired Ford gent answer

I agree. Just toting up the mods in my head, I hit 290 at the crank.

Since its an auto tranny, that would be about 235-240 give-or-take at the rear wheels.
