I just searched a forum or two... Tried to check svtperf.com but they are down right now... I found you one of each on both ends of the spectrum.. you see what 18k will buy you in a 01 cobra... a s/c one... Again, not to burst your bubble, but if you got more then 14,5 i'd be very surprised.

See, not that hard - didn't search but 3 msg boards and i came up with 8, including one that has the entire terminator drivetrain. There are a ton more out there that I saw when I was looking to buy my 03' Cobra...

Also - imo, lower the GT if you could. I went with Steeda for the handeling aspect - but i might've gone the Ford C Spring route in hindsight.

lol ok.. kinda hard to tell online sometimes... but, I was estatic when I got 16 for mine, but in reality i kinda got 18k for it, because of the tax savings... I would honestly think a dealer would give you around 12,5-13k for your car - maybe 14 by a private party. but if you're goin to get another car make sure the private party is giving you more then the dealer is + the tax savings you get from a trade in.

For example: new car costs 30k, you get 15k for your trade in. You get taxed on the differance which is 15k ( 15,000 x 7% (tax in fla) = 1050.00). So in reality the dealer gave you 16050.00 for your car. Private party gives you 16k for your car, then you go buy one for 30k... you pay 7% tax for example. 29k for car (you got an extra 1000 for yours via private party) + 2030 in tax (29000.00 x 7% = 2030.00) - total for trade in is 31,050.00, total for selling privatly buying same car = 31,030.00 - in the end of this example you saved 20 bucks by selling private party and getting an extra 1,000 for your car. Not included is the effort you gave to sell your other car.

Got it?? Sometimes just because the dealer gives you a low figure for your trade, you still sometimes win in the end. Plus, it is just easier, haha.

Don't know what your planning to do or why you'd sell your car, but this is what you have to look at, if your looking at a new one... haha...
