Ok guys i'm really thinking about getting smoked tail lights for my car beacuse i have 5% black out tint on my car already and i think tinted tail lights would look good with my car tint. I've heard that cheap stuff from ebay start to look flat black and peel at the cornors. But the blacked out tail lights will look good man.

As far as smoked tail lights go, I've seen them on black Cobra's, and they look pretty good. Wouldn't put them on a light colored stang though.

ok thanks, i think i saw actual covers that you could put on the tail lights that aren't film, i think they were plastic and looked nice. But i guess ill just foget it then.

Do a search on Ebay for nightshades. It's a spray tint. You spray it on the tails and the more coats you apply, the darker it gets.

im not to fond of them for our cars color, but here is a photoshop of what my car would look like since it has similar color to yours....
i had black outs from cal-mustang.com and ill tell u 1 thing, it looks great. but if u drive a lot at night ur reverse light is pretty much blacked out and so hard to see anything. but if u dont drive a lot at night go for it.
A) The ones my friend had were like pitch black, like a sticker or somthing?
B) I would end up painting half my hood and my fenders black if I tried to spray that on lol.
Well i just thought it would look good with my 5% tint on my car. But yeah, im not spraying anything on my tail lights, or anything else that will ruin them.

They look great but how much do you like your rear end. I'm all for bad____ looking cars, but I almost ran into a truck the other day with this stuff on. The middle of the day, already had a glare on his back end...all I could see was the back break light over his rear window and told my wife his lights were out. Got up to a red light and I could see the slightest glimpse of a pale red sparkle from the inside of his tinted break light...great look, bad for old ladies and general grouches like me to follow behind. Go with a simple smoked tail light or get some of those really cool euro lights with the carbon fiber or black background and so on...so many choices other than black tint. Only thing nicer than black on black is chrome on black. Unless it was 1993...we could throw some gold trim in there!
