There's no way I would buy a used set of gears. 10K is just enough to get a wear pattern in them. Once they establish that, they'll never work right in a different vehicle. No matter how well they're set up, they'll whine.

really? i have used 3.55 gears in my car and i havent gotten a whine or anything out of them. i believe they were off a 2004 mach 1, t-lok and all, from what they told me they had a little over 15k miles on them...if thats the case i guess i lucked out. i got new bearings and seals and everything. sadly i didnt do the work myself, i had no idea about the gears so i let a shop do them.

I have some Rx7 cross drilled and sloted brembo rotors that are gathering some dust as well. Im told that they fit the rear of any 1994-2004 mustang. I know that the bolt pattern is the same as my 01' GT.
