Default Production Numbers breakdown 1999-2004 models?

Been looking for a breakdown of numbers to see how special the car I own is world wide. I'm able to find the color-breakdown of numbers, but there's no indication for coupe's/convertibles, V6/V8, manual/auto and the like.

There seem to be lists for Roush, Bullit, Pre 1996, and post 2005, but the chunk between those is strangely quiet other then year-provided color statistics.

I noted on the forum it was stated for the 2004 models that Ford should be the party to talk to (which I just sent out an e-mail to), but I would like to use this way to see if there's more information to be had on my car and how special it is (other then it being in the Netherlands ofcourse).

Moreso since I do know Ford Customer Support, and usually they just shoo me away as 'not being an American', and hence not of any importance. Talk to Ford Europe... Which then state they don't do Mustangs and I should talk to the US branch... You get the picture.

Heck... for my previous car I even managed to get myself black-listed at Ford US. Sending mail to them with legit questions, and getting them back as being non-deliverable.

So anyways, I'm tossing this question up here aswell to see if this provides further info. Thanks in advance for any and all information available.

That page (although helpful) only breaks down the lot by the exterior color. There is no notice of the interior color/make, engine, transmission or even body-style.

Now this page for instance provides a breakup not only to color, but also body-style. It just doesn't help with narrowing down the field on how specific the car I own is, since I can't make a correlation between body-style and color... And even then I can't factor in the engine (V6 vs V8) nor the transmission (Manual vs Automatic).

Thanks sofar for that tidbit of info tho.

Unhappy

The next time I want yellow Mustang paint codes, and a history of yellow Mustangs I'm there! For the rest of the productions numbers it's not much of a help.

Hah... Ford gave me a reply today... They only know the total they say... i.e. No further options details known... I replied that I'm atleast aware that a breakdown on color and a breakdown on body exists, so there's probably a breakdown of engines, trannies, and interior too...

With thos figures you can atleast run an estimate of how exclusive a car is in the combination, but that goes by percentages, and may be a whole world off... Frankly I'm pretty sure Ford should have figures somewhere.

Moreso since they say the stopped noting options and the like on cars as per 1946 due to it being too much paperwork... Which I don't believe since I've seen people stating their car was one of 535 made that year with that option package etc...

my link shows you a breakdown of every year mustang from 99-04 including all specialty stangs from Pony package V6's to Cobra R's and Terminator Cobras. what are you talking about? It just doesn't have the breakdown for the interiors.

I'm basically curious as to how many Mustangs were created with the color-scheme and main components that are on mine. Now the link you provided basically cuts down on the colors. The link I provided adds to that the figure for the body-style. I can't make out the combination of the two tho.

So basically, V8, manual, Silver Satin, Dark Charcoal leater interior, and GT Coupe body, for the given years.

So how many of the 2002GT series were GT Coupe's? How many of those were Silver Satin exterior color? Now how many of those have a V8, and how many of those remaining have a manual transmission. Finally, how many of the resulting set have the Dark Charcoal leather interior?

And THAT number is what I'm curious about, moreso since I've seen those option/combo's floating around the internet as in: Your Mustang was one of the 107 made with that combination. It's not a hang-question, but merely curiosity.
