I'm wondering how a stock GT vert (mine) would do on a road course?. We have one at Pacific Intl Raceway just south of Seattle, and my friend (Stock Monte Carlo SS), and I want to go at it- he's got the handling, I got the power. Might make for a fun matchup...
Both cars are stock. His is 3450+ lbs curb weight, mine is 3470+ lbs curb weight.
His has the V6, mine has the V8. His is not a vert, mine is.
I'm running on Goodyear Z/45's, he's on Goodyear Eagle RSA's.
He has 4 wheel indy suspension, I have indy in front, live in rear.
I bet I'd win, but he has a lower profile, which will help through the turns.
Thoughts anyone?
