just a little story to tell here. The other night i was getting on the freeway, and right as i do i merge next to a 06 gt coupe. it had rims and exhaust, so i figure it probly had and intake and tuner. so i look in the rear view and see him accelerating, so i turn the OD off and hit the gas. he got the jump on me but i was slowly catching him and i was only behind about fender to about 120. the new 3v's must have some pretty good top end power, because with the gears adn all i was having a hard time gaining on him. so we played around a little bit(a few 60mph pulls) and the results were the same eachtime, but i wonder how i would have faired from a stop. And then on my way home getting back on the freeway later htat night, a newer chrysler 300 Hemi was behind me and we did a pull from about 50 or so to well over 110 and it was pretty even until he let off. Im starting to think DAMN, i wish i would of went 4.10's now! Actually was a pretty fun night even though i didnt get to really beat anyone. I'll take it as motivation to get some forced induction soon.

just to let you know, the steeper you go in gears, the lower top end you'll have, which is why you'll always get pulled on the highway, and why you'll always have higher rpms on the highway than with stock gears.
Example, if you had some 3.55's you maybe woulda faired better. Having 4.10's means you'd have a lower top speed, and hit it faster, and when that happens the other guy will just walk away.

well theoretically you top end will be lower but not by much. i actually just hit 140 mph this morning and it got there ALOT faster than it did in the past with the stock 3.27s. as far as pull goes, i should have pulled him easier on the freeway being i was more in the engines powerband. i would have really been beat having the stock gears i think.
