Ok, so I bought my car about 8 months ago and so far have...
added magnaflow cats, basani x-pipe, flowmasters, cai, steeda tri-ax shifter, awesome new tires, rotors, ceramic brake pads, and gears being installed hopefully next week.
Only other performance mods on my list are underdrive pulleys and strut tower brace and I think I'm done for now with that.
Time to move on to the body. Any cool advise or stuff I can get...lets start with the cheap stuff.
I'm going first with the billet grill for the hood scoop, grill, and bottom grill, and the black projector headlights and black euro lights.
Anybody suggest some other cool dress up stuff that wont cost an arm and leg and wont put me in the ricer scene?

there's definately alot of billet items you can buy for the interior. i think its the attention to detail and where less is more sometimes. sites like mustangtuning and upr make great dress up items and most are relatively cheap

My personal opinion: I love the way the mach 1 grill delete and chin spoiler look, both reasonably priced, The projectors and euros on the otherhand aren't my personal favorite modification. As far as headlights I like the blacked out style with the clear corners kinda like on the 03 and 04.

i def agree with him i love the mach 1 chin spoiler and mach 1 grill delete on my car 2 of my fav mods i have done, i also like the 03/04 cobra front fascia

I was almost convinced in buying a grill delete kit but saw one first hand when I bough my shifter and gears. You could see the mounting brackets for the pony really well and the radiator was more aparent and really distracting to me than the actual look of the "floating pony". That's why I said the billet grill. However just got a pm from a person with a function hood scoop and if I did that to my car I think the only way to go would be the billet for looks and function as a guard. I thought about going grill delete and remove the hood scoop honeycomb grill altogether...but that's still up in the air. Also thought about painting the billet grill black and mounting the pony on it...kind of the best of both worlds and completly original, but still...up in the air.

I kinda like being able to see the radiator. I made my hood functional looks kinda nice to me with the TB and plenum behind it.

So you can see this through the hoodscoop...I need to get some detailed pics of this so I can see how much you guys are cutting off of the car. By the way, is there really anything you can mess up while cutting pieces off of your car...haha.

With the fake hood scoop I feel like the car is incomplete and just posing to be a race car from the visual aspect. I can only imagine what people that don't know what is under the hood think, and showing off to people is half the fun of mustang ownership for me.

also if you dont have a tuner you could get that for around $350 i like the diablosport predator but many also like the sct tuner, another cheap mod that i think looks good are the shorty antenna's altough they do get less reception if you listen to the radio, i really dont use the radio except to listen to sharks hockey!
