Default 2001 stang dyno results

I finally made it to the dyno today. I was expecting about 245hp and 280tq with the mods listed in my signature, but i was plesently surprised. when the rollers were done stacy stang had put down 255hp, and 294tq. Not to bad considering it has the stock tune and such.

This was to the tires. The tech said my air fuel ratio was way off, and I believe it. it was around 11 throughout the power band.

Yeah that's about right for those mods. Get a tune and you'll break the 300 rwtq number easily.

So when I put the PIs on, exhaust and a tune I can come close to that in my 98?

No, but I do have a CAI... and then the PI will include intake and heads... Then while in there I will do headers and H pipe.

What else should I do to get to that point?

It was a dyno jet as well. It was 72.36 degrees F and 52% humidity. The shop said that an intake elbow and T/B should give about 10-15 more hp. And that since I have the stock tune there is probably about 10 more ponies and 15 more torque with a dyno tune.

Dyno tests have shown about 6-7 rwhp with an aftermarket TB and plenum, however it increases power throughout the rpm curve. You will definitely notice the difference!

Did you have one on your 02 GT? if so what was your setup?
