Those MACH cars are great too. But as far as the BULLITT, it is a VERY well balanced mustang. Tons of fun to drive. I highly recomend one... hehehe
Tough part with the BULLITT is finding one that hasnt been beat to death, or modded to the point that it is no longer a BULLITT... Most of the people I have run into with one seem to be younger guys that have never heard of Steve McQueen and just think they have a hotter version of the Mustang GT with a misspelling of Bullet on the trunk lid... WORST one I ever saw was on e-bay not too long ago... Had a really bad looking sticker job on it... It was a black one and they had added stickers to the hood, rocker pannels, hood scoop, and had added "STEVE MCQUEEN" in NASCAR style lettering above both doors. It had 103K miles on it and had a salvage title in California.
Saw a pretty bad one in Salt Lake City once too... They had added a rear spoiler, aftermarket rims and it was filthy. On the hood scoop they had BULLITT # XXXX in small stickers. Looked REALLY tacky.
This BULLITT that I have was a one owner car, good friend, older guy, in his 50s, METICULOUSLY maintained. It is a GOOD find.

Thanks. Got the color I wanted too. Wanted it to be like Mr. McQueens original. LOVE the Dark Highland Green. Looks GREAT around dusk. There are nice ones out there but you have to look...
I was checking with a site that has a registry of BULLITT cars... They can account for a bit more than half. Kind of a bite. You can not believe how many are already wrecked or parted out... SCARRY... Guess it really will be rare one day.

Thanks. When you do a KELLY BLUE on it you have the choice of poor good excellent. If you choose excellent, it warns you that only 5% of all cars fall into this catagory. I believe that this one does. It is SPOTLESS!
