hey, i am heading out to the track tonight to race a guy from work who swears his bolton civic can hang with me..... we raced once on road and he swears we were withing 1 car lenght even though the other 3 in my car and 1 in his car say otherwise.... anyhow i know some of you say its pointless to waste gas on him, but i am trying to get a new best run..... this will be 2nd time with my 315/35/17 sumitomos, i know they pulled a 2.0 last time with full 30psi of air and horrible run 13.8 or something.
tonight i dropped it to 18psi warm, struts are set to drag mode, i have 1/4 tank of gas.... and car will sit for a lil before run if weather allows, it hasnt rained in like 4 months here, and now it has a 30% chance...... lol figures, anyhow supposely will be late night showers so, as of right now air is really nice temps are 80F and dropping and should be a tail wind!!! hoping to beat 13.53@102.4 with a 1.97 60ft. if can pull a 1.8 which these tires are wide but not great id run a kick ass run, or if i just et perfect shifts and launch with a 2.0, i know she has a 13.3ish in her.

yeah let us know what you pull man ... hey also i am thinking about getting a tuner. i noticed you have a diablo. how does that work out for you? what made you decide over the sct II or something else? what kinds of things can you adjust on it? does it come with preset tunes or do you do everything yourself then save the settings? anyways let me know cause i am thinking about buying one

well tonight was bad, i ran 3 times i was going for a 4th but it rained out. when i got there i didnt evne get to make my 1st pass they stopped for shower.... 1st run 2.1 60ft (horrid) 14.1, then 2nd pass i hooked 2.0 but half my foot wasnt on clutch pedal when i went to slam it down and my foot slipped off so i just went into 4th and coasted down.... 3rd run was 2.0 13.9 1/4 time..... i got some videos ill upload ... with one cool kick ass incar view.

one way and that could get costly and add too many miles

i got 2 outside, and 1 incar, the first one is me 2.160ft 14.1 shitty launch track was crappy after rain.... then 2nd was good launch with missing the the clutch and just coasting down.... 3rd is incar 13.9 with a 2.0 which i think could have almost been a 1.9x and you will see once you see the video.

no kidding. i saw that one and thought "why can i ever do that?". everytime i try launching at 2k i just light 'em up all the way thru 1st, i guess i just need to learn to feather the throttle. the in car shot was awesome tho, how did you get the camera to stay? did you use one of those in car tripod things?

i have a canon A530 powershot and i just set it to video mode and wedged it in between the seat and the headrest when the headrest was fully extended
