I have an 04 Mach 1 with the stock mach 460 stereo system. Has anyone changed thiers? What did you put in it? What upgraded components did you use? I like pioneer... Anybody know? Thanks.

I kept the 460 in my 02' GT and just added 2 subs, sounded awesome. My Cobra came with an Eclipse head unit that sounded pretty good, but I swapped it out for a Sony MP3 head unit. It doesn't have quite the sound quality the Eclipse did, but I have been listening to the same CD for a month now lol. Pioneer in good, I've always liked the stuff I had from them in the past.

i just got mine so im a lil more concerned with upgrades to the car its self.

personally im a kenwwod fan. With that double din size radio you have a ton of options (dvd, nav) so. for the rest of the car id put some sort of components in up front. i have the r series alpines in my jeep. 2 sets actually (front and back) and i love em.

i just put the Alpine S in my front door in my stang, BIG difference over the mach 460 speakers

I know exactly what I am getting minus the speakers. Its all Pioneer... Avic-D3 nav. system head unit, doing a fake floor shallow sub in the spare tire spot. I just dont know what component speakers to get that will fit. I dont know what size I can fit without having to modify anything. Its got 6x8's in there now. This is what I was looking at... Pioneer TS-C160R 6x1/2" speakers, & TS-C130R 5x1/4". Anyone know if I can get these to fit?
