Have around 6K+ into mine installed by professionals. No reason you couldn't install yourself and save a few bucks, I just didn't have the time. When (if) you order, take into account chip re-flashing takes a week or 2 and costs 200 bucks, things you could normally control with a tuner (example: traction control) cannot be turned off except by KB (I'm told). If I knew that before I had the chip flashed the first time it would have saved some grief (and $$$). KB is an awsome setup, very driveable, Just had mine in for the yearly checkup, oil and fluids, less then $100.00, everything 5X5. Reliable, trouble free 1st year, and I started with a slightly used one!
