If you're looking for general information or performance numbers or any other kind of info, you've found the right place to get it.
The GT model has a SOHC 4.6L V8 that makes a claimed 265 horses and 305 ft-lbs of torque. It has a 8.8 inch solid rear axle filled with 3.27 gears with an independent front suspension. A typical driver can get the car to 60 mph from a dead stop somewhere in the low 6 second range with no modifications. With minor mods and a little practice, that can get into the mid to low 5 second range. A 1/4 mile can be covered somewhere in the 14 second range box stock and as fast as low 13's with bolt on mods including gears. The GT model was the only V8 mustang built in 2002 as there were no SVT Cobra's made that year.
There's a very brief synopsis of the GT model, I can't say much about the V6's because I've never driven or owned one. I can tell you that there are quite a lot of members on this site with nearly boundless info on any year, model and trim level of Mustang ever made though and if you ask the questions, someone has the answer.
