That is true, if I could afford one I'd have one. Actually it's not so much affording it up front, it's the upkeep on a vette that is expensive.

I so totally agree. I have a friend that owns a white 98 and he got his ass handed to him by a new GT. Yes, the GT (Mustang version not a gt gt) had some basic bolt-ons, but for a car that you think would be fast, its not as fast as they appear. I watched the same car (Vette) get demolished by a WS6.

BTW, ratio of Vettes to cobras around here is like 20 to 1.

I'd say go with the cobra. The prices may be close now, but 30 years from now the cobra will be worth WAY more than the vette. the vette will be just another old vette, and the cobra wont just be another old stang.

I like both those cars myself, but in all honesty go with the cobra. You wont be dissapointed. For a minimal amount of money you can make that Cobra faster than ****! Ive seen pullied Cobras blow away Ferrari's, and Lambo's. Right out the gate the Cobra is a better deal. Holds its Value, plus the 03 will always be a classic because it was the first year they supercharged them. Big money in 20 years or so.
