So I thought I was buying a JLT CAI off the classifieds on svtperformance.com, now I'm not so sure ! I paid for it about 2 weeks ago (Paypal) and days after I asked for status on shipping. He said it was all packed up and he was on his way out the door to ship it. Well, here it is almost 2 weeks later, and I've received nothing!!! After sending a few messages and not hearing back, I started to do a little research. Turns out someone else just got scammed by him, so I went ahead and started a Paypal dispute ! This sucks, as I have never had a problem purchasing stuff over the internet, been doing it over 7 years! Sorry, just venting, rant over !!!
I guess I'll find out how good they are, I've heard of both positive and negative results. Usually I wouldn't jump the gun, starting a dispute after only 2 weeks, but with the other guy getting scammed, the sooner the better !
its got to be a scam cause a decent guy would have responded to you by now. I myself have gotten scamed on E-bay a few times. And then the guy turns around and sends me negative feedback when i did nothing except get taken advantage of. So i kinda drifted away from ebay. But i am getting upset over this stupid little keychain that i bought online. i bought it 8 days ago, and only 2 days ago did it actually say "shipped" for 5 or 6 days the order was "pending". Come on dude, its a stupid keychain, and according to them, its the best selling item on their stock. I can't see why....
damn, that really sucks. ive yet to be scammed, but see if you can get some help from the other SVTP members. maybe one of them knows him or something, or maybe he went on vacation?

I've never been scammed out of money (I came close once).
My advice is just wait it out. I was doing a 2000$+ trade once. I sent 9/10 items in one box and 1 other item separately. The 9/10 items were delivered kinda-on-time. The last item (which was 2 delrin detents) kinda lingered in limbo for about 2 months. 2 months. The kid I was dealing with trusted me (I have 100% positive feedback), but he was questioning himself over the trade. After 2 months, I got the detents back in the mail with "return to sender" stamped all over it. There had to have been 10 stamps on there from different offices. I confirmed that the address was correct and sent it out next-day-air.
I have been scammed twice and I got my money back once. There are cheats out there we just have to be careful. I have noticed on ebay 20+ positive feedback doesn't always insure a quick clean sell either. I stick with the power sellers with good feedback or I will have the seller ship first since I have the better 100% feedback if they won't do it there is possibly something wrong.

I hope you started a flame thread over on SVTP, those guys love those flame threads and it usualy brings the asswipe outta the woodwork. Seen it work a couple times. They assholes that rip people off cant stand having thier name ttrashed so they always come around and try to defend themselves. Hahahahahahaha. Nobody said crminals were smart, even though they think they are.
