Default 1996 Mustang Cobra... Need Advice On Mods

Alright Guys, Ive Had A Slight Change Of Plans This Year For The Racing Season Coming Up, Turns Out My 90 Gt Wont Be Ready In Time. Therefore Im Going To Have To Drag The Cobra, My Mods Are In My Signature. Ive Got Slicks, And Subframe Connectors On The Way. Im Still New To The 4.6 So I Need Some Help. What Else Can I Put On The Car To Make It Faster Without Putting A Supercharger Or Nitrous On It? I Cant Seem To Find Many More Mods To Do To The 4.6, Any Help? All Opinions Appreciated. Thanks

How about long tube headers and an aluminum driveshaft.

LTs are definitely much less painful to install on an engine stand Took me over 10 hours and lots of knuckle skin to get mine in.

Default Traction

I'd go for tires next.

Check Ebay for some used wheels already shod with slicks or DR's.

Save the Sumitomos for the street.

well i'd say an electric water pump... suspension mods, beefier axles/rear end none of which gain you anymore hp, but will get your car down the track quicker.

I think the Mezier might be a good idea, particularly for a drag race project.

Great for cool-downs with the motor off, too.
