Of course it takes tuning to take full advantage of running any mix, but people don't always tune for it right away and they still see gains. Water has better cooling properties then Methanol, but I am mostly after the increase in octane. EGT's are fine. Why do you say my motor is living on the edge? I have zero knock (datalogged) and my EGT's are safe... So why would that be on the edge? Stock shortblock can handle over 400 whp easy. It's all in the tuning brother

I have learn a lot over the past couple of years. Tuning the computer isn't as hard as all these tuners make it out to be if you have the knowledge already. It's just figuring out what all the damn tables do and how much they effect everything

The tables in my software aren't labeled as well with proper descriptions like the Ford SCT software...
