Question Brake Question 2

Okay, so my boyfriend is going to buy a Cobra, and upgrade his brakes so I can have his put on my car and not spend $1200 getting the cobra brake upgrade.

So my question now is what are some good brake pads? and can anyone tell me anything about Akebono brake pads?

Do you not trust your Bf on his recommendation? Go with EBC or Hawk. Ive heard good things about performance friction as well.

I agree. I use both on my vehicles. Also plan on replacing the OE brake lines with SS, its a good idea.

Not familiar with Akebono - sounds like a Japanese U2 impersonator.
