Default 1996 4.6 SOHC Upgrade

Will these work on a1996 4.6 SOHC ???

2001 Mustang GT Heads, Cams, Cam Gears, Valve Covers, Intake, Throttle Body, headers

Would this change engine to a DOHC??? Are these considered PI?

I am a recent owner trying to learn fast, so I can one day go fast.

Thanks

They will all work on your car with a few other modifications, you'll also need the pi intake off the 2001 GT your talking about. If the parts you just listed are from a GT then you will still have a SOHC motor with a static compression of close to 10.5 : 1

You will also need new gaskets, if u need new spark plugs now's the time to do it, new arp head studs, pi alternator bracket(or fabricate yours), pi coolant nipple, you'll need to drill and tap a 3/8 pipe threaded hole right beside the thermostat housing for the temperature sensor on ur old intake(99-up don't have this sensor like 96-98's do)...and I'm thinking that's all you'll need besides a tune but if u need more parts than I just listed someone will jump in and help!! U need anything else we're here!!

so I am guessing that GT's from 1999 forward have the PI heads, intake, etc????

if I do this, do I need bigger injectors than #19????

all you guys who are so willing to help are so appreciated!!!

If you have anymore questions about the parts, email me bro, they are just sitting in my garage, and I need new motorcycle parts!

yep yep and apparently he's selling a bullitt intake...which is the best intake you can get, you won't need bigger injectors...

To be honest, I have yet to really get her out and hammer on it. I did the swap in Dec, and took it out on one of the few days there was no snow or ice on the roads. She really needs a tune, and I put the 30lb injectors in. I did a Predator tune on it, but she needs to see my tune guy and his dyno pretty bad. This spring, I'll have the engine running perfect, and then I move onto the body. I'm going to tuck the rear bumper I think, and give her a new coat of clear to make her look like new again....

After the dyno, I will post my results.

Thanks

I beleive I have a Windsor (X vin w/ 12 bolt head cover).

Is there any reason a Romeo PI setup wouldn't work on this engine.

I am very interested, and trying to get some money together if all is compatible.
