Question where does your 94-98 rear seat bolt in????

ok guys..here goes. i just installed a custom stereo in my 97 gt. i took the bottom of the rear seat out to run some wires. while doing this i noticed that the BACK part of the rear seat is not bolted in!!! the inner side of each of the folding rear seat backs is bolted in...but the outer side of them( towards the sides of the car)is not bolted in. there is a bracket that is designed to put a bolt through...but there is no bolt.....and get this....NO HOLE FOR THE BOLT!!!!!!!! is everyones 94-98 coupe like this? the seat functions fine but it is definitely not right!!!!...any input/help pics!!!! would be great i need to fix this!!!! pronto!!!!

I'm doing the same thing on my 2000, but haven't got to the point of removing the rear seat. I was wondering if you have to remove the whole black frame. I know if you remove the double hump head rest thing there are some bolts holding it in. Let me know if you figure it out

killer//i think mine is gonna be a one of a kind problem...its not the upper part of the back of the seat its the lower part...each half seat has a spot on the lower outer edge where it is supposed to be mounted to the car ( i assume) my car has no hole in the body/frame for a bolt to screw into!!!!just the hole on the seat bracket?? is that how yours is?? also..if u r interested i build awesome custom enclosures for 94- present mustang coupes/convertibles..my box mounts behind the drivers side tail light in the trunk and the sub fires sideways in the trunk. it is cut to the same contour as the trunk..and carpeted...it looks factory...and best of all it slams...mine houses a 12" square kicker solobaric..let me know if u r interested

badass, how much you charge for your enclosures? Got any pics of ones you have made? I've got a 02 GT convertible...
