Default Need help!! Mid pipe questions!!!

I currently have the magnapack catback system on my car. I now want to upgrade my mid pipe. I was thinking about going for the catted tru x magnaflow mid pipe, but I want to keep my car sounding deep and not too raspy. I want to keep it legal to pass smog, so no o.r pipes for me. Any suggestions?? I want to keep my car sounding deep and don't know too much of what the difference is between the x and h. All i know is that x has better flow and high end power, while the h has better low end torque(which is what the mustangs lack on).

honestly just having the cats help low end torque regardless if its an H or X . I have an offroad X pipe with the maganaflow catback and like it very much. my son has a catted Bassani X pipe with mac mufflers and it has a really deep tone to it.

An H pipe will sound very deep with the magnapacks. But i dont think the magnaflow catted x pipe would make it too raspy either. I have a catted bassani x pipe with my magnaflows and it added a raspy tone to the deep rumble from the magnaflows. (not too raspy though). And there isnt enough power diff between the two to really compare, either way your get a couple more ponies and a better sound.

Any midpipe with cats should be 50 state legal, and it will pass emissions. Cats is the key word. The only problem ya may have is with cops cuz of noise, but ive never been pulled over and tons of people drive without cats and pull it off. Look on ebay for one.
