no, you'll need a DOHC harness or you'll need todo alot of cuttin' splicing and soldering of the harness to make it work and I dont recommend that...

Well,, boost wise with a turbo or supercharger, lets not ask how much im gonna push but how much can a stock 03-04 engine right off the showroom floor handle. The 4.6 blocks are freakin crazy strong and they tend not to break like the 5.0's but the internals and the crappy 2V heads are what keeps the standard GT mustang from really being a street performer. Now the 03-04 Termies on the other hand have the same fairly indestructable blocks but also come with the stronger internals + the 4 bolt mains previously mentioned. How much could these blocks in stock form hold? Thats what id like to know.

so are you asking how strong the stock bottom end of a 03/04 cobra is or how strong the block is? the "block" its self is very strong and will take 1000+hp. the factory internals on the 03/04 cobra i'd say are reliable up to 700hp. you can make more but who knows for how long.

The weakest link in the stock cobra blocks period are the rods. If you had forged rods you could take it up to 800 or so hp. With the stock rods you are looking at 450-500 on a stock 01 cobra motor and about the same if not a little more on the 03/04 cobra motors. Teksid blocks are by far the best 4v block out just b/c of where they came from and are capable of holding 1500 hp. while the 01-04 blocks are usually good to about 1000 hp if built right and maintained properly.
