Sounds Like Exhaust Leak - help!

I have only had my car for about 3 weeks and I have noticed from time to time what sounds like an exhaust leak when I accelerate at lower RPM's (Below 3000).

So when I took it to the dealer they said that it was normal with the plastic intake fooling people into thinking that it sounds like an exhaust leak.

FYI... I have a 2002 GT can anyone else confirm my findings or know of a fix for it?

Lay under your car and have some give her some gas and see if you can see a leak?? I have no clue.. Just trying to help out..

Uuhhhh. I'd strongly recommend NOT laying under a vehicle while it's running, especially if you think there's an exhaust leak. First off, you odn't want the car falling on your head. Secondly, if there's an exhaust leak, you may not smell the carbon monoxide before you go unconcscious. You should be able to tell just by listening beside the car on the ground.

Has anyone else heard of the noise from the plastic intake story?

sounds kinda strange to me, but of course I have never had a car with a plastic intake on it.
