Angry 2000 Saleen stalling issue with compcam!!! HELP

After blowing my motor because the plastic timing chain retainer broke and cloged the oil pump from delivering oil to the heads, I rebuilt the motor quality stock replacement parts but i opted for compcams 102200 cams. when I got the car back it couldnt idle to save its life! So went to a local shop and they told me to get the SCT flashing tool and that should solve the problem. But I still have the same issue.

I have cleaned the IAC and replacesd the fuel filter and put in new spark plugs... PLEASE HELP!!!!

Do I need a custome tune even thought its only a 2nd stage cam?

Also do you know of anyplace in LA CA to get a quality tune if I need it?

(I have ford 70mm TB, underdrive pulies, had the steeda timing adj- removed after flashing, and mac CAI, + compcam 102200)

Start by looking for vacuum leaks and use a vacuum gauge to make sure its producing sufficient vacuum, check all the connections. The cams may be off a tooth, but look for simple solutions first, they're usually the culprit.

There's a place in Rancho Cucamonga called GTR Performance. Its a bit out of LA, but they only work on Mustangs. They have a dyno and will work on just about anything. I had them re-weld my header collector when i had an exhaust leak, really great guys, quality work and good prices.

what happens is when I slow the car down suden or not the rpm will drop really quick. Before all this happened my rpm would decline really slow because of the aluminum flywheel... So I have no idea what can cause this

work was done by Mertic Engine in N Hollywood. My dad is a partener in the biz so I'm hoping the gearing is done right though Im gonna have them take a look at it tomorrow.

In terms of the vacuum, i have looked at everything and its all hooked up. how and where do i guage it? I have a few part stores around me would pep boys have it?

THanx for helping out even though im new to the forum, some of the other places didnt even comment....
