im pretty sure im going to get an sct tuner but what one should i get? whats the difference between the stragedy tuner and custom tuner and the XCalibrator 2 Tuner other then thats the last one is $100 less

maybe i read that wrong but to me it seems like those three are pretty mch the same? so why it the XCalibrator 2 Tuner $100 cheaper

From reading the article it looks like the x2 only tunes by downloading. The x3 does that, but you can also tweak your tuning a little bit from there to fine tune it right from the tuner. If you dont think you will need to do any manual tweaking then go with the x2. If you want the capability to tweak or fine tune, get the x3. Thanks for the article svtcobrasnake1. It helped me understand a lot more.

Yeah, you'll just have to find local dyno shops that have the software to really do a good tune.

Ok, Now im confused. How are you supposed to use the x2 if they wont do the custom tune? American muscle says they will email you free unlimited custom tunes if you by the x2. Please clarify...

I got my SCT X2 from VMPtuning two Months ago. Tuner came with three custom tunes all my choice. 93 Octane Performance, 87 Octane Performance and 87 Octane for mileage. Plus my SCT X2 tunes all have end user adjustability. It is one great tool.
